01 / FROM PROOF OF LIFE TO FREE HER

Proof of Life was
only the beginning.
Freedom is the goal.

Portrait of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi wearing a yellow flower in her hair.

Over the past few months, Kim Aris asked for credible proof that his mother was alive. An International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) representative was permitted to see her.

But Kim still cannot see or speak with his own mother.

Now he is asking for her freedom.
